RCA Victor Console
« on: May 22, 2010, 05:13:00 pm »
I recently purchased this from an auction. The website stated it was a 1940's model, but upon further investigation, it's starting to feel more like a 1951 model. Does anyone know anything about this console? Thanks!

As a side note, there are no serial numbers or model numbers.

Wish I knew my stuff on these but don't.

I would suggest going through vintage RCA TV advertisements or TV's on eBay to see if you could eventually come up with a exact match.

Just from looking at the 12 pages it would appear to me that this set is from the 1950's and not 40's (a totally uneducated guess based only on the few examples I viewed).

How times have changed. These set used to be like furniture with beautiful wood and even doors that would close over the screen when not in use.

Wish I could watch every episode of The Honeymooners on your set to get that Nostalgic feel.

On a listing I found this 1954 ad that I thought was the nearest to yours.
