WW1 german binoculars, need a price estimation!
« on: May 25, 2010, 09:18:33 pm »
Hey, it's me again!
I need help with an item, again, but I've got some info down about this item...well info other than what the item is worth....
These are called Feldglas08, by Spindler & Hoyer, Gottingen(not sure what Gottingen is) made for German officers in ww1, and were produced from 1909-1919?
these binos have 95% of the original paint, and are kept in great shape, it's made from aluminum, and copper.
Now for the bad part....there is no strap nor container for them, and there are slight paint chippings in some places, but nothing major.
Here are some pics....All I need to know is what they are worth.

Thanks!  Julekpl

Betting actual market value will be $35 to $45.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

I agree, if they were WWII maker marked/coded they would be much more.
