WWI Bugle
« on: March 08, 2004, 06:36:44 pm »
Is there any value to a WWI (by history) bugle.  This bugle was owned by a friend's family and was used in the Battle of the Bulge according to them.  I is stamped JW York & Sons, Grand Rapids, MI, USA Phila Depot, Spec 1152 Cont 7-11-17.

IT WOULD ADD SOME VALUE IF YOU COULD PROVE IT.

There is a picture of PVT Grimes with the bugle in WWI uniform, there is nothing to prove the Battle of the Bulge for the bugle but Mr. Grimes was there and there is a documentation that he was in that battle.
