McCoy Pitcher?
« on: June 27, 2010, 02:58:48 pm »
Hi, I've been on the boards for a few weeks, trying to help out when I can. And now I've finally decided to do a post myself.  ;) I ran across this McCoy pitcher at a yard sale, and I only paid $5 for it. It's in excellent condition, with no chips are cracks. It says McCoy on the bottom, and is about 8 in high. Can anyone tell me anything about it, or how much it's worth? I looked on Ebay, and in a couple of McCoy price guides, but couldn't find it.

I actually have it in my booth now, but would be interested in finding out more info about it, and whether I priced it right! I usually research things before I price them, but I was at a loss on this one, so I just guessed. If I priced it way too high, I can put it on sale. If I priced it too low, then I guess somebody will get a good deal! lol At least I'm not losing money on it. I priced it at $40

Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

Found this one, in a quick search on Ebay.

It's listed as "Vintage Pottery Chicken Pitcher, Hull or Shawnee???".

Looks like the nearly identical mold as yours, ThisNThat.
