brass bells

hiya does anyone know how old these are they are brass i think and i have one big 2 small, they are very heavy. can anyone put a date . ? written on each bell are the names johanne marcus lucas and matthev ? pics show these. thanks

Can't really help you with dates myself.....will leave that to those who know construction and style.  Pics of the undersides of the bells would help there.

I believe what you have are Alter / Apostle bells. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)

Just coming on Sunday morning breakfast time for a lot of members on here......can be pretty quiet at times, especially if you live on the east coast 

And if the weather is good on a weekend, everyone seems to go out to 'play'.  Come evening more folks tend to settle at their computers and check in.

can anyone else identify ? i have searched everywhere on the net and cant find anything,  how old?  what were they used for ?  and whether they are worth anything ? as i am selling the collection along with lots of other bells.  Hope someone can help
