The only thing I can find is that this coloring of cat isn't very common at all - so that may boost the price.

Sure looks like R Copley style to me....whoever buys it.....ask them what the novelty is about this!

Ii agree can't wait to seen end of listing bidding!

Thanks Cogar for the link, That give me at least conformation that it is a Royal Copley.  I did find some intresting things out looking at Ebay.  There is another cat coming up about the same time, Cat with yarn, it is around $200.00,  I looked at his history and their last two sales was the same kind of item, both cat with yarn Figurine, gold trim one he sold for 2,800.00 and another but not gold trim for $600.00, personnally I think mine look better for sure.  Wish I had a subscription to worthpoint would be intrested to see what the one like mine went for.  All and All I kind of have some hope of it going higher for sure, but if someone bought the cat in the yarn for $600.00,  I think mine is worth at least $800.00   :D .  Anyway it has not moved the last couple of days, but is sure picking up the watchers and hits.

Well the results are in.   Ended at $68.00, it would seem the cat fight was a early one, Finally a bigger cat came along and ended it at $61.00, but with a final slight scratch one of the first Cats came along and took a swipe, but not good enough.  So it is off to Canada it goes, for $68.00, really wanted it for sure.  All and all it was a good one for me, bit of a cliff hanger at the end, but that is the thrill of Ebay  :o
