i really need help identifying this item, nobody seems to know anything about it

i came across this site when i was trying to find out some more information about a vase i have. it's driving me crazy, i havent a clue who made it as it has only 787 (or L8L) on the bottom of it. i have attched a picture for all to see. please save my sanity ♥

I believe this is a European (possibly England) majolica mantle vase.   They are often numbered as your are.   I can't be sure of the country or maker.
