collector belt buckle
« on: August 19, 2010, 12:57:16 pm »
I have an old belt buckle that was designed for the last cowboy who owned the last piece of farmland sold to the city of Los Angeles. I have been told that there is only 2 in existance and it is very rare and worth a lot.  It says san claritas valley on it and I am wondering if anyone has anymore info about how much it could be worth as well as how to find out more about it.  Let me know at ramirezsoccerfamily@yahoo.com if you can help. thank, candice

Candice, please post some pics.  If they made a mold to cast two, they could have cast thousands.

Candicer33.  Who did this individual happen to be?  Provenance always counts.

Agree also about the belt buckle information posted by wayward.

Here's some helpful info for the area:

You might want to contact the historical society from the area and inquire at the same site!
