Know Oil LampS?

Acquired this oil lamp today.  Still have to clean it up a bit.  I believe its the original chimney. 

The base reads:  Q U E E N   A N N E.  It also has:  S C O V I L L  M F G  C O        Made in USA. 

Anyone have any knowledge of these?  A date?  A value?

I've noticed after just a little research that there are lots marked with No. 1 or No. 2 online.  Mine doesn't have a number.  Is it an earlier or later one?

Thanks for the help, Sapphire.  Am I missing where it might be that No 1 or No 2 would be found?  I can't easily take the metal part (burner?) off of the base and I don't want to damage it in any way.

Does it not want to detach from the base? Have you tried turning it the opposite way from how you would normally 'unscrew' something. Many, if not all 'real' oil lamps are threaded in the opposite direction to ensure against accidental spills.

BTW, Scovill manufactured the burners, but were not the makers of the lamps themselves

I think with the "Made in USA" marking it would be safe to say this was made after the late 1930s.

Me thinks the #1 or #2 is the burner size, ..... actually the size of the threaded hole that screws onto the lamp base. Different lamps take different size burners. Lamp makers bought their burners, they didn't make them themselves.

Queen Anne refers to the burner. #1 and #2 is the collar size. The collar holds the burner. #1 is about 7/8" diameter, #2 is about 1.25" diameter. Photos are a little off but your pattern appears to be "Cross Lens" made by Findlay around 1890. That may be an old chimney but it's not original to that style of lamp. Your chimney is known an a Matador and usually fits a lamp with a flame spreader.
