vernonware dinnerware
« on: September 16, 2010, 12:02:22 pm »
Hi,

I am just getting started selling antiques and books.
I know nothing about either subject.
I have looked all over the Internet for a price on my vernonware dinnerware set.
I would be thankful if someone could just point me in the right direction.
Thanks,

AL

Thanks to Wendy and KC for trying to help me.
Here is a link to a photo of the pattern.

I am hoping that it may be worth something to a Vernonware collector.
Thanks again for your help.

Spacer0  Vernonware began with Poxon China in 1916, located in Vernon, California. Later, in 1928, it became Vernon Potteries or Vernon Kilns. The company was bought out by Metlox in 1958 and became a division of Metlox. you already know the  pattern name is called  Heavenly Days. I searched  Metlox Vernonware Heavenly Days and found several sites with your pieces for sale and  from them you can get an idea of current value.  So I am not really sure what answers you are looking for ???
