antique?
« on: September 22, 2010, 05:45:17 am »
hey guys, my wife inherited this piece from her grandfather who passed about 2 years ago. We just started trying to research it. There are no markings on it anywhere that i can find. I found the term bubble/ruffle on a few other sites, but I'm not sure if this pertains to this piece. Does anyone know the proper name of this piece, or have any other information on it that can get me a better understanding of exactly what this thing is. I have checked a few other sites, but nothing really seems to come about. Any information helps.
Thanks
Chris

What you have is a Fenton Hobnail Vase, introduced in 1940 and Discontinued in 1955

Love to see the who beat who between ironlord and wendy!

Really like this blue!  The cranberry is the rarest!

I love cranberry glass.

And I wish Wendy or someone could tell me something about this bowl, to wit:
