Dug a painting out of garden

Hi,
i would like to know if anyone could help me.
i was digging my Nannas garden and i found a painting.
I want to know if anyone knows what it is, is it worth anything and who is the artist,

It reads something like.... j.attefellini

I tried a few different spellings, including J.A. Hefellini and other variations, but I'm coming up with nothing. Looks like this is something that is shellaced to the wood, right? That was really popular in the 1960's. There was a brand of shellac called "Modge Podge" and it was a popular kids n' moms kind of craft back then.

Mod Podge is the best!  Still use it for my crafts.

Yeah, it looks very 1960s to me.

That shellac coating must be amazingly thick, or else you have no moisture/humidity in your soil/part of the world!  If I had dug that up out of my southern garden, it would be ......  well, chances are good that it would NOT "be", at all!  Not without a coating of kryptonite!

lol yeah it is fairly thick, are these kind of things worth any money or are they better just to keep?
