<_< My wife and recieved a chair that was my grandmother.  We have had it about 15 years and had it recovered as it was in need of that.  It did have the original covering and the tag on the chair says the chair was make by S. Karpen and Bros.  and was sold through Meir and Frank of Portland, Or.  My grandmother may have had it since the mid to late forties.  I remember it as always around and was her chair.  I do not know when the chair was make only a date of 11-12 and a serial number of 1015 and frame no. G-19-S.  Could anyone help me find out anymore info on the chair. Bill
