Please help identify this signature

To me it looks like some of the name was cut off when applied to the board. I thought it was Fruire. There's a photogragrapher Freire, but he's to young.

If anyone is still with me (and believe me you are appreciated) I've been researching until I'm numb! But look what I found. Could this be it?
I looked up these two (below) and found a painting in oil in the sepia but nothing same as mine. Still looking for a lady under an umbrella ...

Well found, and it is definitely him. If you examine the pic of the two cats you'll see his full signature, same as yours. He seems to have worked with il on canvass, so you should be able to tell with a good magnifier whether it is a photo/print of an oil. Happy hunting.
