I have found the Leica Leitz Wetzlar 7x42B set of binoculars in my house and I was wondering what to do with them, if there would be a collector out there that would like them and i was wondering whether to sell them online or take them to an antique dealer or some specialist shop nearby
I am more looking for advice on if it is worth selling these and how much they would be worth, Thank you Jordan
Below are some images and more details on the Binoculars:
The binoculars come with the original instructions, original case and original leather straps, there is a little wear and tear on the straps, case and binoculars themselves which is from them being used. There are a few scratches on the casing near the lenses but the lenses themselves are in perfect condition.
The writing that is on the Binoculars is:
GERMANY
807408 (Presumably Serial Number)
7x42B (Presumably Model Number)
140m/1000m
TRINOVID
Leitz
WETZLAR
The Case has the Leitz logo on and underneath it has GERMANY written on it.
I've tried to be as detailed as possible so that you have all the information
