Well found Sapphire. The case is very likely English, whereas the works could very easily be German.

Just been to the Clock Forum, and they're suggesting a mix of German works, French Face & English case!!

Very cosmopolitan   ;D

Hi Sapphire

The answer is , no I'm not sure it's german. The guys on the other forum are saying it's a Winterhalder & Hofmeier. It has the serial no. 69462 on the back plate.

It could quite easily be... and I'm sure someone there will come up with an identification, so long as you keep the thread going .. Good Luck!
