My parents have had this little vase for as long as I can remember. Now that I am about to move out on my own, I want to take it with me. I am hoping to find another one like it so that I might have a pair for my first apartment, but I can't make anything out on the bottom, as it's all smudged and worn down. If anyone could tell me what kind of vase it might be, I'd REALLY appreciate it. It's about 4" high and 3" wide. Thanks a bunch!! :D

WHile the picture gives a idea of the style, could you take a closeup of the bottom of the vase and post it? it might be "smudged" but generally recognizable as a specific name of manufacturer.
 
then you could do an ebay search for that manufacturer...

Sure, no problem. I guess to say that the bottom is "smudged" was really an understatement on my part. I don't really know how to describe the bottom of the vase. The center is smooth like the rest of the vase, but the rest of the bottom is scratchy, almost like it was sandpapered. Also, the basket/flower pattern is repeated on the opposite side of the vase, as well. My parents don't remember where they got the vase from, but they have been together almost 25 years and we've lived all over the US, so it could be from just about anywhere. :( Sorry I can't provide more info. I have been searching for the past 2 months to no avail.

I hope this can help its sounds like a flower vase that florist might have used like the famous head vases they were made from lots of different co. try fleemarkets to find a match bring your vase with you good luck kevin

Im with antiques DNA.
Personally, it screams german 1965 to me.
But it also looks mass produced.
I predict you will come across others in the exact same shape.. but you might have a hard time matching the pattern.
