hello! it took me a while to find an antique forum that's active, but here i'm looking for a little help identifying what is affectionately known as "the ugly cow vase" by my parents and i. when my grandmother died a few years ago this was adopted by my mother (my aunties wanted nothing to do with it and took all the things they thought were worth something
), and now we're wondering what *exactly* it is, and its worth.
i've found information on its creator, hannah barlow, and found pictures of other items with this cattle design on them, but nothing specifically about this shape and size (11.5"). if somebody could point me in the right direction i'd really appreciate it
thanks if you can help!
edit - it occurred to me that i should probably post the other thing i've been researching - "bagdabs" solid perfumes. i've found some info on them:
http://www.cleopatrasboudoir.com/apps/blog/show/3666085-edouardo-prochaska-perfumes- and a couple of places that they've sold, but those places didn't have prices. i don't know if the case they're in was original or just something somebody made for them (possibly leather but i really don't know), and it only has "110" written on the bottom in pencil. i've loved these since i was a kid
and i read somewhere they're made of bakelite, if that's true.
