Can anyone help identify this tea pitcher/pot??
« on: June 14, 2011, 07:59:27 pm »
I came across this at a thrift store today, it is really nice. It seems to be some type of tea/drink pitcher. It has a picture of two females and a young child on the front. The handle seems to be half gold plated, or painted possibly? It has nothing on the bottom except a faded made in Japan stamp, and the thrift store wrote 9.99 on it. I searched around the internet and didnt find anything, I may just be looking in the wrong area. I am curious about age, origin, and possible value? Here are some pics. Click the thumbnails to enlarge pics. Thanks guys!!

Thanks again for anything you can give me guys!!

Uh oh...the top/cover is missing. leave it on the shelf because the chances of finding a correct replacement cover are zero and next to zero. IMO.
