If anyone can help me I would appericate it.

I have a cupboard and side table and was wondering what year it is and where it came from.

The reeded legs make me think that both pieces are Sheraton or Hepplewhite but I have never seen those feet on one. Do you know what the wood is ?  Pics give no detail on that. Can`t see enough to tell if repro`s or older pieces. Would need detailed close ups of construction ect. for that and still it would be a "maybe" !!

The table is in the Sheraton style....but don't feel that it is an original by the pics here.

Do you know of the history?  I do know that many hotels in Hawaii over the years sell off their interiors to update and thus it has dispersed all over the islands.  Some are great collector's pieces and some are repros.  I have seen many of these pieces over the last few trips to Maui this year.

Warm Aloha to all who responded.

Mahalo to the guy who married me??  (blonde moment)

I think last night I must have been hit in the head with a coconut or maybe too many Mai Tais!!

I will take more photos, this forum is so helpful.....

Keep it safe on this busy 4th of July weekend, we all want to arrive alive....

Oh, Maui. I was there once. Very beautiful. Sat in an open bar in Lahaina and listened to a local band while having a cold beer. Very nice island. Fond memories.

The wedding went without a hitch. 'A'ole pilikia

Darker wood appears to be mahogany which is what I would expect but trim wood may be something that is local to you. Don`t recognize the grain of it offhand, kind of looks like butternut !!  I think they were made after 1900 but how far after ,, not sure !!  Just going by the pics available !!

The decoration (urn with tassles ??) is one  I have seen before - or something similar. Hopefully I'll have time to look a bit today.
