Can anyone help us identify this chair?
« on: July 09, 2011, 07:19:02 pm »
We picked this chair up at an estate sale last month and fell in love with it.  It is very comfortable and we got it for a song.  It was just what we were looking for.  A corner of the fabric underneath had come unattached so we looked at it more closely.  I believe it is a very old chair but am not an antique or vintage expert.  The under side of the chair has leather straps about 2 inches wide going in both directions.  I have attached the photos that we have right now.  Sure hope someone can help because we were going to paint it but now we are thinking differently. Thanks in advance.

I can't pull up any pictures...sorry!  Need pics.
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!

It appears that you will need to either re-shoot the picture with an older camera at its lowest "quality" setting or find software to get the file size under 1MB so people can see it.

You can post three pictures per post, they cannot be bigger than 2meg each, no more than 4 meg per post.

The picture black hole has swallowed them up and until retreasured re-memberizes not much else will re-happen.

Frightening might be putting it mildly,,to say that a Texan totally understands someone that lives in Wisconsin might be reason for getting ridden out of town on a rail !!  LOL
