Abebooks is a great place to get idea's on value or to find out how common a particular book is. It's also a good place to buy books. I myself have looked high and low for an antiquarian or rare book forum on-line that actually has people that post on it, and there really aren't any. I'd like to talk books with other collectors but there doesn't seem to be such a place to do so. There's a book value forum on
www.biblio.com ,but if you posted these books on that you'd be doing good to eventually get a response, let alone several responces.. This forum (Antique-Shop) isn't for old books in particular, but it's really a fantastic forum with a lot of helpful people. We don't get a lot of book questions, but when we do they tend to get answers.
