Old Vase or is it?

12" h Chinese (?) design vase with markings on bottom: England, the number "14" in blue ink; the letter and a number "N 1695" in red ink 5.5" at top rim, 6.5" at base. see photo. any help identifying it is appreciated.

I have searched the internet as well as several individual sites and found nothing !!  This leads me to think that this vase is relatively new and was made for export and dept store sales !!  It is likely transferware !!  The number 1695 and the letter N is probably a registration number.
