    Looking again a couple of other things to note appeared.  They appear to be Nickle Plated over copper, is that plate loss I see inside.  Also note the hard seam lines, this can be a clue to mass produced export items.  The body does look to be mid Century hand painted Glass, which is really nice, Much more of a quality item then the metal parts. Just a couple of notes

The porcelain sections are hollow. I have seen very similar ones online, the only difference being the flowers painted on them. Going to take them down to the antique section of the city tomorrow to see if anyone has any knowledge of these things.

Ugly as sin, but they do grow on you!

These are decorative ewers only from the pics show.  Decorative pieces...and I can honestly say they wouldn't decorate my home as is.  I would Spray paint and decoupage these suckers and sell them for $$$
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
