Hopi Pottery?

I believe this is an authentic Hopi tulip vase. Can anyone confirm? It's been in my family for 3 generations now and is in excellent condition. There are no markings or signatures. It measures about 9.5" tall. Thank you.

Wow, that is very cool. I would start by contacting museums or tribes in Arizona to determine if your pot is Hopi, Zuni or another of the tribes in the area.

   Is it possible to get a shot of the bottom, this can help to determine the age sometime.  Overall it looks in almost too good of condition to be of that age, but could of been well cared for.  Thanks for posting.

There are no marking on the underside.

     The reason I ask for pics of the bottom, the construction technique could reveil a clue, also Wear and tear can help in determining the age.

     For sure appears to be hand thrown, and not mass produced.   Still appears to be a bit clean to be anything earlier then mid Century.  It overall appears is very pleasing which I like.  Now if you want to nail down the actually artist, this will require lots of leg "net" work.  Just keep in mind I'm not the expert here on pottery but you for sure have a nice item.

    I would say yes, I looked a bit and found many of this style listed as Hopi.  Here are 4 Names of Artist that the style is much like yours.  Joy Navasie, Marianne Navasie, Elic OlQuinn, Emma Naha.  this was just a quick search and you will proably come up with more Artist names of this style.
