So this small jade colored glass dish, bowl, or ashtray (?) is about 6.5" in diameter and 1.75" deep. It took me a while to realize this--I must have been picking it up in the same spot over and over, haha!!--but it has one edge that is unfinished. It didn't break off, it's just smooth and not in the design of the rest of the rim. I don't know if that is intentionall or not but to me it seemed odd when I finally realized it, like my eyes were playing tricks on me.
The paint is sparkly and has a very slight grit texture under the pad of a finger. It is painted on in bronze and gold metallic colors over a design of scarves. Rim looks old...the piece has some light pitting and discolor/wear marks but no chips or cracks.
Anyone seen anything like this or have any clues I might follow? I've been searching and I'm stumped. No marks or stamps.
