I agree, I looked for 20 minutes threw makers marks and all I found was Maryland Glass Co of Baltimore but they specialized in blue (cobalt?)milk bottles and such

I think mart is right. I just checked my markings book and it is nowhere to be found. It should have been in the arrow section or then the circle section. I even looked in the 'M" section and then went thru the whole book and it's not there.

Well I just went through all my porcelain Mark books and did not find anything like this.   My First Guess would be French, but this is based off of Looks.  Then English and Asians did most of the Blue and White pattern.  I do have a book on English Marks Pre victorian and nothing in there either.  I will have to look around the net a bit to see if this mark appears.  This could be a Artist mark also and not so much a company hallmark, these can be harder to trace.   The style appears to be Victorian at least in age, but without hands on that would be a guess, many items out of Asia was made in this style even until today.   One last thing does the lid have a dapper on it or is it just a lid?, in other words could this be a perfume bottle.

I'm not sure, but I was looking in my bottle books for marks. There's only one marl with a "M" in a circle. This is what makes me unsure. It's Cristales Mexicanos, Monterey Mexico. I'm going to look it up on the internet. The scent bottles listed don't have manufacturers listed. Since this is not a perfume there no name.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get this bottle? Did you pay a lot for it?
