What on earth is this thing?!?!

This came from my late grandfather who spent the majority of his life traveling overseas. I have no clue what it is. Appears to be some sort of indian or egyptian and seems to be made out of brass? The back has no markings on it at all. Anyone  know what this is, where it came from, how old, or what is may be worth? Pictures didn't turn out the best unfortunately. Thanks!

Looks like one of those mountainside "drawings" that can only be seen from a plane.

Nasca lines,,, aren`t they in Peru ?? Wish someone would get on here that knows what it is !!   All I know is "it ain`t American" !!  To use a bit of Texas english !!

I may be the only member that thinks (on first reflection) that this item may be a 'boot-jack' (for assisting 'solo' removal of boots) .
