Antique Bedroom Furniture

I have an antique solid mahogany  bedroom suit that includes High post Q bed/ dresser/mirror/chest/NS/solid Brass handles & jewelry box Purchased in 1949 by my Grandmother for $1500.00 Excellent condition! # inside drawers is 434 manufactured by Hickory Manu of N.C. Have not been able to find anything close to begin knowing the value. Have been told several diffrent quotes from local Antique Dealers. 5-$10,000. Does anyone have any Ideas? I need to sell but want to be treated fairly.

Hi.......It's hard to say anything without photos. Keep in mind that a dealer (if honest) will offer you 1/2 of retail value. He has to make a profit also. Sounds like grandma had a good eye.............
